Concert Makeup

"let me light up the sky, light it up for you. Let me tell you why... I would die for you" hello! So last night I went to a Yellowcard concert! Ahhh! Music is such a huge part of my life. It makes breathing and everything else easier for me. One of my favorite bands is Yellowcard and I must say they put in one hell of a show! Singing hit songs like ocean avenue, only one, make me so, one bedroom and so much more. I lost my voice but it was all well worth it. I will see if I can post some videos or pictures at the end of this post. But what I wanted to do today was talk about my makeup for the concert. I wanted to be dramatic, but not too dramatic. Here are some pictures:

So what I did to achieve this look was my usual face makeup. - on the eyes I used Blonde's Gold pigment from Mac. Then blended it out with Mac's Bamboo, soft brown and cork. I also applied Mac brown script/ brun above the crease and carbon in the outer corner. The inner corner I applied nylon from Mac and just winged out my eyeliner. - On the lower lash line I applied eyeliner and smudged it out with brown script and brun. - on the lips I used mac's strip down lip liner and Gerard's cosmetics Nude lipstick. In the pictures it looks orange but in person it is a nude color. - As a cheek highlight I used Bobbi Brown's Gold Bronze.

And that is basically the makeup look :)

Here are some footage from the concert :
