Modern 90's Grunge Look

There are so many decades I wish I was born in. I feel like I was put into the wrong era! Some era's I wished I was apart of was The Grease era, Elvis Presley era , the 1970's Rock era and to relive the 90's again! Today I am going to show you my favorite 90's inspired look. The Grunge Era. The effortless roll out of bed , hair messed up , dark rocker makeup look while looking like a total badass!

Here is my modern take on this look: 

So the star of the show is the lips! This brown chocolate color is my current obsession! I can't get over this perfectness! The grunge era focused a lot on dark/different shades of browns on the eyes and lips. My take on it is a bit more wearable without both the eyes and lips clashing with each other on the face. 

- On the eyes I use gold shades on my lid , a soft brown color through the crease and a shimmery white to highlight in the tear duct.

- On the lips I used Lime Crime's Matte Velvetine  in the shade Salem! I am such a fan of these Matte Velvetine's ! They stay matte throughout the day and stays on all day. 

- On the face it was focused on being matte. So I used my Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. And a slight contour bronzer (even thou the 90's was not too hyped on the contour. But let's keep this as our little secret ) .
